Firefighters are battling a fire in the Angeles National Forest near Burro Peak, prompting evacuation warnings, CalFire officials said Monday.
The fire, named Burro, was reported around 1:26 p.m. and has burned approximately 30 acres with no containment at this time.
Fire crews remain actively engaged in suppression efforts.
Officials have requested four additional air tankers to support operations, but said not all the requested aircraft can be deployed due to competing demands from multiple fires across the region.
An evacuation warning has been issued due to a potential threat to life and property. Residents who may need additional time to evacuate, as well as those with pets and livestock, are being urged to leave immediately.
Evacuation warnings are currently in effect for zone LAC-E169.
