Oakland County sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help in finding two runaway boys.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said the two cases are unrelated.
The missing boys are identified as Jacob Brendon Holley, 14, who reportedly ran away from his Pontiac home on May 14, and Justin Brandon Acevedo, 16, who reportedly ran away from his Addison Township home on May 16.

The sheriff’s office said Jacob Holley left his home shortly before 3 p.m. last Thursday with no cell phone or other traceable technology. He’s described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds, with brown eyes and a large brown Afro hairstyle. When he left home he was wearing black Crocs, gray jogging pants and a blue jacket, the sheriff’s office said.
Justin Acevedo ran away on Saturday after his mother grounded him, the sheriff’s office said. Justin’s mother received a message from him on Sunday, stating “I’m alive,” the sheriff’s office said. He’s described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. When he left home, Justin was wearing black pants, black t-shirt and a red backpack, the sheriff’s office said.
