FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The FOX26 Town Hall: Teen Violence in the Central Valley was so well-received that we are rebroadcasting it on Friday.

The town hall originally aired last Thursday at 6 p.m. with our FOX26 News at 10 Anchor Madison Macay and our panelists of experts, including Assemblywoman Alexandra Macedo, City of Fresno Deputy Chief of Police Mark Salazar, Chief Kirk Haynes with the Fresno County Probation Department, and Julia Sanchez, a mother who lost her son due to teen violence in Hanford last year.

The town hall will air commercial-free on FOX26 at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 22nd.

We were also joined by Stephen Quick, the father of 18-year-old Caleb Quick, who was shot and killed outside a McDonald’s in Clovis on April 23rd.

Stephen Quick has been advocating for his son’s alleged killer, who was 16 at the time, and his girlfriend, who is accused of driving the getaway car, to be tried as adults.

A Fresno judge ruled that she is to remain in juvenile detention.

The town hall will air commercial-free on FOX26 at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 22nd.
