Echo Park—The county coroner is investigating the death this morning of a 60-year-old man in the 1600 block of Sunset Boulevard.
Responding officers who were called to the scene at 7:10 am found no evidence of a crime, and the investigation is in the hands of the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner, according to an LAPD spokesperson.

The name of the deceased has not been released pending notification of the next of kin, a spokesperson for the medical examiner said in an email.
