3 separate grass fires burning in San Jose ‘under control’

(KRON) — Three separate grass fires were burning Tuesday afternoon in San Jose, according to the San Jose Fire Department. The fire was reported in the area of Story Road and Remillard Court, which is Happy Hollow Park & Zoo.

SJFD is describing this as “three separate small fires with a slow rate of spread.” The department received a call about the fire at 12:14 p.m.

However, as of 12:44 p.m., the fire is “under control,” SJFD posted on X.
