BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Criminal proceedings were suspended and a competency exam ordered Friday for an 83-year-old Bakersfield man charged with murder.
Michael Roland Wildrick is scheduled to undergo the exam before Nov. 20, when he’s due back in court for a ruling on whether he’s competent to stand trial.
Wildrick was arrested in the September shooting death of Emma Yoconda Wildrick, 85. She was pronounced dead at the scene in the 11000 block of Tulane Park Place in southwest Bakersfield.
