The Sacramento County Fair is returning to the Cal Expo Fairgrounds this week and will run from Thursday, May 21, through Monday, May 25.This year’s fair features a variety of activities including concerts, animal shows, magic shows and carnival rides. Fair hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day except Monday, which is Memorial Day. The fair closes at 7 p.m. that day. The Zipper requires you to be over 54 inches tall to ride. The Zipper is known for its extreme spinning, where riders are seated in vertically flipping cages throughout a large rod that is also spinning.Learn more about the rides here.
