All of Oregon State’s committed transfers are officially signed.
Former San Francisco forward Sean Blakely Drummond, who appeared in five games last season, signed with OSU on Tuesday. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
“We are thrilled to welcome Sean Blakely Drummond to Oregon State,” Oregon State coach Justin Joyner said in a statement. “Sean is the type of player every program wants because of the impact he makes both on and off the floor. He is an elite locker room presence whose leadership, attitude, and work ethic will elevate the culture of our program from day one.
”On the court, Sean brings tremendous value as a true 3-and-D player who competes at a high level on both ends of the floor. He understands winning basketball, embraces his role, and consistently does the little things that help teams succeed. We’re excited about the toughness, professionalism, and character he will bring to Beaver Basketball.”
The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Blakely Drummond shot 1 of 3 from the field and 0 for 2 from the free throw line and had two rebounds and one block in 10 minutes as a true freshman.
Blakely Drummond is the last of eight transfers to OSU — thus far — to be officially announced as a signee. He joins forwards Drew Rasmussen and DeShawn Gory, centers Dennis Evans, Xavion Staton and Peteris Pinnis, and guards Daniel Freitag and Legend Smiley, as well as high school signees Yeabsera Aklog and Jemai Lake.
