Traffic delays on the Bay Bridge were slowing the Thursday morning commute into San Francisco after a crash on westbound Interstate 80, authorities said.
The California Highway Patrol issued a traffic advisory around 6:20 a.m., reporting that the right lane of I-80 was blocked due to the crash just west of the bridge metering lights in Oakland.
There was no estimated time of reopening the lane as of 7:20 a.m. Drivers should expect delays and avoid the area if possible, according to 511. The traffic collision involved injuries.
