A fatal crash was reported Thursday morning on westbound Interstate Highway 80 near the Bay Bridge, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on the freeway’s section west of the Metering Lights. A lane was blocked due to a crash, the CHP said on social media around 6:15 a.m. Patrol officers did not provide an estimate of reopening immediately.
Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area.
