EvolutionWise Longevity Studio, a fitness and wellness center designed to help adults over 40 train and build healthy habits that work best for them, has officially opened at 5708 Second St. in Naples.
Aside from the typical gym offerings, EvolutionWise also offers specialized wellness routines including fully-body electromagnetic field therapy, ozone therapy, sauna, and more.
Ashley Richardson, the studio’s owner, said she decided to open her business in Naples in hopes of bringing EvolutionWise’s offerings to the locals.
I sat down with Richardson to find out more about EvolutionWise and what residents can expect from the business.
Q: Why did you decide to open in Naples?
A: “I chose Naples because there is such a vibrant, active aging population here. I see this corridor continuing to grow as more people prioritize proactive wellness, longevity, and healthy aging instead of simply reacting to disease later in life.”
Q: Tell me more about yourself.
A: “I grew up in San Diego and have always been drawn to athletics, performance, and helping people. I was recruited to play D1 Water polo for LBSU, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a minor in entrepreneurial studies, followed by a master’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in sports management.
Athletics shaped much of my early life. I competed in swimming, surfing and water polo at a high level, and later moved to Australia to continue playing water polo professionally while also owning and operating a swim school and aquatic facility.

Over the years, I’ve owned and operated several businesses in the fitness and wellness space, including my 9Round kickboxing studios. But what ultimately led me to create EvolutionWise Longevity Studio was seeing how many people — especially after 40 — were doing all the “right” things and still struggling with weight gain, hormone changes, inflammation, low energy, injuries, and loss of strength as they aged.
I also became increasingly passionate about the idea of helping people maintain their independence and quality of life as long as possible — staying strong enough to travel, play with grandchildren, continue hobbies, and remain autonomous in their own homes as they age.
That perspective deepened even more in 2025, when I competed with my outrigger canoe team in the International Va’a World Distance Championships in Rio de Janeiro, where our team won a world championship in the 40+ division, where, crazy enough, four out of my six teammates are actually over 50.”
Q: How has that experience applied to your business?
A: “The experience reinforced something I strongly believe: aging does not have to mean slowing down. But it does mean we need to approach health differently. After 40, our bodies require more intentional support around muscle preservation, recovery, hormones, metabolism, circulation, and inflammation.
That became the foundation for EvolutionWise Longevity Studio in the Naples area of Long Beach.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned through entrepreneurship is that growth rarely happens in a straight line. I’ve made plenty of mistakes over the years — trying to move too quickly, assuming systems would work perfectly, or underestimating how much education is needed when introducing newer wellness technologies to the public.
But every challenge reinforced the importance of adaptability, listening to clients, and staying mission focused.
What started as an interest in fitness and performance has evolved into something much more meaningful, creating a space where people can proactively invest in their healthspan, preserve their independence, and continue doing the things they love for as long as possible.
Q: What services do you offer?
A: “At EvolutionWise, we focus on four core services that support healthy aging, recovery, strength, and metabolic wellness:
ARX Adaptive Resistance Training: A highly efficient, science-backed strength training system designed to safely build muscle, improve bone density, combat sarcopenia, and help prevent or reverse osteoporosis. It’s especially valuable for busy professionals or aging adults who want maximum strength-training benefits in minimal time.
HUGO High-Intensity PEMF Therapy: A full-body pulsed electromagnetic field therapy system that supports recovery, circulation, cellular repair, detoxification, energy production, and post-workout recovery. Unlike traditional PEMF devices, HUGO uses high-intensity technology designed to stimulate muscles, improve circulation, and enhance cellular metabolism.
HOCATT Ozone & Detox Therapy: A multi-modality wellness system that combines ozone therapy, infrared sauna, PEMF, steam, oxygen support, and lymphatic stimulation to support detoxification, circulation, immune health, energy, and inflammation reduction.
BeBalanced Natural Hormone Weight Loss: A holistic program focused on balancing hormones naturally, relieving menopause symptoms, reducing cravings, improving metabolic health, and helping men and women lose weight using a whole-food approach — especially when traditional dieting and exercise stop working effectively after 40.”
