Water rescue underway at Sutter’s Landing after person last seen in water, officials say

Crews are searching for someone who was reportedly last seen going into the water at Sutter’s Landing on Friday, according to the Sacramento Fire Department. Rescue crews were called to Sutter’s Landing Regional Park just after 3:30 p.m. Officials said there was a reported male victim in the water. Their age is unknown. The fire department said rescue crews were beginning to search for him. KCRA 3’s Peyton Headlee was at the scene and reported that several rescue personnel were actively searching in the water.
