A 4-year-old child was hospitalized after falling Wednesday night from a fifth-story window at a Long Beach apartment.
Police responded at about 6 p.m. to the 1000 block of Long Beach Boulevard after someone reported the fall. Details about what led to the fall were not immediately available.
The child was hospitalized in critical, but stable, condition.
Video from the scene showed several apartment units with balconies. It was not immediately clear whether the child fell from a window or balcony.
