Sacramento County Clerk extends office hours for marriage and vital records services

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — The Sacramento County Clerk and Recorder’s main office will now have extended hours on Thursdays.

The county said it will now offer a limited amount of services at the office on American River Drive. Between 5 and 8 p.m., residents can apply for marriage licenses, have wedding ceremonies, and obtain copies of birth, death and marriage certificates.

“By bringing these services under one roof, CCR aims to minimize customer confusion for extended Thursday evening hours and ensure more efficient experience for the community,” the county shared.
