BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Taft College handed out more than $208,000 in scholarships to 141 students during its annual Scholarship and Awards Luncheon, highlighting academic achievement and support for students pursuing their education.
Among the recipients was student-veteran Daniel Hacker, who will become the first student to receive the new Vic Killingsworth Memorial Scholarship.
