Re “Supervisors are executing a term-limits power play, not pushing ‘reform’” ( April 24) and “Scam shows Lawson-Remer thinks her constituents are idiots” (Feb. 27): Thank you for your well-written and timely editorials exposing county Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer’s thinly disguised effort to extend her stay on the public gravy train. I find it hard to sympathize with her as I have never had the good fortune to be on the public payroll to the tune of $220,000 per year. She and other career politicians are exactly why we need term limits. It is a shame they do not also apply to Congress. I, along with many other San Diego County residents, look forward to helping her exit the gravy train at the next stop.
