Man charged in connection with burglary, sexual assault in Pittsburgh

Special Victims and Violent Crime Unit detectives with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police arrested a local man overnight in connection with a May 21, 2026, burglary and sexual assault. Police say this happened in the 3400 block of Parkview Avenue in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood. Detectives say the suspect — now identified as Charles Willis, 29, of Pittsburgh — was detained and taken to police headquarters for an interview, where he allegedly confessed to the crime. Willis was arrested and charged with burglary, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, loitering and prowling at nighttime, and harassment.
