EDU NYS SCORES FOR NORTH TEXAS
Edu Nys scored his league-leading eighth goal of the season to tie the match and send it to an extra point penalty shootout. The goal was scored in the 89th minute of the match.
NATTY JAMES GETS THE EQUALIZER
Natty James scored his league-leading eighth goal of the season in the 66th minute of the match. Prior to tonight, every goal he scored for North Texas was versus Sporting Kansas City II.
Goalkeeper Eryk Dymora returned to the starting eleven after three matches. Dymora finished the match with three saves. This was his eighth MLS NEXT Pro match of the season. Dymora appeared on the FC Dallas bench in Dallas’ road match versus LAFC on March 7.

During the World Cup break, Mansfield Stadium will host UEFA Play-Off Path D winner Czechia. As part of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Team Base Camp program, FIFA assigned Czechia to train and operate out of Mansfield Stadium in Mansfield, Texas. Team Base Camp Training Sites serve as the primary training and operational headquarters for participating teams throughout the tournament.
THE CHOCTAW ERA CONCLUDES
Since starting play in MLS NEXT Pro in 2022, North Texas holds a 30-15-16 home record. North Texas held its historic 15-game unbeaten streak at Choctaw in MLS NEXT Pro action from September 24, 2023 – March 9, 2025. Since moving to Choctaw for the start of the 2020 season, Across all competitions, North Texas’ overall record is 39-16-25. The Mansfield side scored 172 goals at Choctaw Stadium and conceded 116 goals.
