Bakersfield, Calif. (KBAK/FOX58) — The California Highway Patrol said it is launching its annual Holiday Enforcement Period on Friday, May 22.
Officers will be on patrol statewide starting at 6 p.m. and lasting until Monday, May 25th at 11:59 p.m.
They will be on the lookout for reckless and impaired drivers while promoting seat belt safety.
