The surging Junipero Serra Padres (5-3, 5-0) look to maintain their perfect West Catholic Athletic League record when they host the slumping Bellarmine College Prep Bells (2-6, 0-5) Saturday at Brady Family Stadium – Freitas Field.

Serra enters the contest with considerable momentum, having won five consecutive games including last week’s 28-13 victory over Archbishop Mitty in which senior running back Iziah Singleton dominated with 116 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries.

Bellarmine, meanwhile, is searching for answers amid a five-game losing streak after falling 35-13 to Archbishop Riordan last week. Despite their struggles, the Bells feature talented senior playmakers in Brady Fox, Christian Serna and Will Dale who will look to help the Bellarmine avoid a repeat of last season’s lopsided 47-6 defeat to the Padres.

Opening kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, November 1 with a live TV broadcast on NFHS Network.
