Person stabbed to death in Oakland over Memorial Day weekend
(KRON) — A person was fatally stabbed in Oakland over Memorial Day weekend, the Oakland Police Department (OPD) said. The stabbing happened around 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 23 on the 1700 block of East 19th Street.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a victim with a stab wound. The victim was then taken to the hospital where they later died.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin, OPD said. The 1700 block of E 19th Street is located near San Antonio Park.
No information about a suspect was released by OPD.
