West Hollywood Carnaval
West Hollywood comes alive on Halloween with the return of the Halloween Carnaval. The street party takes over a mile of Santa Monica Boulevard, from North Doheny Drive to La Cienega Boulevard. 6-11 p.m. FREE
Go Metro: Take the B Line to Vermont/Santa Monica Station, then transfer to Line 4 to Santa Monica/La Cienega. Or take Line 4 directly to Santa Monica/La Cienega.

Saturday, November 1
Los Muertos 5K Race Day
Get some exercise this weekend with the Los Muertos 5K, a Day of the Dead-themed run through downtown Los Angeles. The race starts at 8 a.m. Sunday on Main Street in El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument and runs through lower Chinatown and past Los Angeles State Historic Park. Proceeds benefit the Olvera Street Merchants Association Foundation. Free to watch, registration required to run. 6-10 a.m. FREE
Go Metro: Take the A, B, D or E Line to Union Station, and it’s about a 5-minute walk to the start.

Godzilla Invades Little Tokyo
Godzilla takes over Little Tokyo on Saturday with a double feature at the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center. The event starts with a screening of “Godzilla 2000,” followed by a Q&A and showing of “Godzilla: Final Wars.” Tickets for each film are sold separately. Buy tickets to both films and get $5 off, plus a free Godzilla 2000 poster while supplies last. Posters can be redeemed after the second screening by exchanging your wristband upon exiting the theater. 1-6:30 p.m.
Go Metro: Take the A or E Line to Little Tokyo/Arts District Station.
Family Fest Día De Los Muertos
Looking for something fun and cultural to do on Saturday? Head to Family Fest at The Wallis in Beverly Hills. The venue hosts its inaugural Family Fest: Día de los Muertos celebration honoring life, culture and the past. The event features face painting, story time with Lil’ Libros and more family-friendly activities. 11 a.m. FREE
Go Metro: Take the B Line to Vermont/Santa Monica Station, then transfer to Line 4 to Santa Monica/La Cienega. Or take Line 4 directly to Santa Monica/Canon and it’s about a 5-minute walk to The Wallis.
Sunday, November 2
Party on the Pier
UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital hosts its 25th annual Party on the Pier at the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday. The milestone celebration features family-friendly fun, including unlimited rides, carnival games, therapy animals and more. All proceeds support UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. FREE. Tickets for carnival games and experiences are sold separately. This is a cashless event.
Go Metro: Take the E Line to Downtown Santa Monica Station, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to the pier.

LA Rams Football
The Rams host the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon at SoFi Stadium 1:05-4:05 p.m.
Go Metro: The free SoFi Stadium shuttle connects fans to the action from the LAX/Metro Transit Center. Take the Metro C or K Line – or other local bus lines such as Big Blue Bus Line 3 and Culver Citybus Line 6 – to the LAX/Metro Transit Center and hop aboard the shuttle at bus bay 8. The Lakers host the Miami Heat on Sunday night at Crypto.com Arena. 6:30-9:30 p.m.
