Couple’s fight turns deadly in Mid-City, police say – NBC Los Angeles

A woman was arrested for killing a man inside a car in the Los Angeles area, authorities told NBC4 Investigates Tuesday.

The investigation began Monday night when the woman flagged down officers in Mid-City near Sawyer Street and Holt Avenue at around 10 p.m. and sought medical help for her date, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

When first responders examined the man inside the car, they declared him dead.

As the woman stayed at the scene, officers learned that the man and the woman had an argument, which became physical and violent, inside the car, the LAPD said. Law enforcement sources also told NBC Los Angeles that the woman drove around for a while with the dead body inside her car.

The vehicle was impounded for evidence, according to police.

The female suspect was booked for murder as the case will be presented to the LA County District Attorney’s Office.
