The San Diego Fire Department responded to a two-alarm fire near the 6600 block of Avenida Andorra.

The fire began at the exterior of the one-story single-family home and extended to the attic and rest of the structure.

One person was injured and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, SDFD Captain Shanley told NBC 7.

Units were first dispatched to the scene around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

Due to the size of the structure a total of 72 personnel were assigned to the call, according to SDFD.

The fire was knocked down around 2 p.m., fire crews remain there for clean-up.
