A Halloween party that was attended by hundreds, if not thousands of people, was shut down in Woodland Hills overnight.
Details surrounding the gathering itself was limited; however, preliminary information indicates it took place in the 5700 block of Oakdale Avenue.
It is believed that Los Angeles Police Department units were dispatched to the area late Friday night following multiple noise complaints and reports of people in the street.
Footage obtained by KTLA shows the party in full swing, with attendees packed together in the backyard of a residence. Some appeared to be engaging in a “moshpit” in the middle of the crowd as music played – everything from “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” by Soulja Boy to “Someone Like You” by Adele was heard blasting on the speakers.

There even seemed to be live performances at the party, and people were seen sitting on the roof of the home where the party was held to get a better view. Some attendees seemed to be delighted at the arrival of an LAPD airship.
The crowd eventually spilled into the street, with costume-clad attendees leaving the party in droves after law enforcement shut it down. They left many piles of garbage in their wake.
It does not appear as if any arrests were made.
There were reports of an individual at the party who may have been taken to a hospital; however, the purported reason for the possible hospitalization was not immediately known. KTLA is still working to verify this information.
