Sacramento Police are investigating an incident allegedly involving a federal employee dragging a person with their vehicle.Police said officers responded to the area of 7th and N streets outside of the John Moss Federal Building after 5:30 p.m. for reports of a possible hit and run crash. Police said there was an altercation between a pedestrian demonstrating near the building and a federal employee who was trying to leave. The demonstrator tried to stop the employee from driving away while filming the employee with their phone, police said. At some point, the demonstrator’s phone fell into the employee’s vehicle as they drove away, according to police. As the employee drove away, police said the demonstrator hung onto the vehicle and was dragged until they let go. The demonstrator suffered minor injuries but did not go to the hospital.
