Marcus Miller of Sacramento pled guilty to charges including trafficking over 400,000 fentanyl pills nationally, with law enforcement seizing pills hidden in toys.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A Sacramento man pleaded guilty for his part in shipping over 400,000 fentanyl pills across the United States.

Marcus Miller, 36, pled guilty to 15 counts of drug trafficking offenses and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The office said Miller and his co-conspirators shipped the pills throughout the country for over a year. The office said on several occasions, packages were seized by law enforcement where fentanyl pills were found inside children’s toys.

Officials said hundreds of thousands of fentanyl pills, 17 firearms, and over $80,000 in cash were seized by agents during searches connected to the conspiracy.

Agents found some of the pills and a firearm inside a hidden compartment in Miller’s vehicle. He is prohibited from owning a firearm due to past felony convictions, according to the office.

Miller faces a mandatory sentence of at least 10 years in prison, a maximum statutory penalty of life in prison, and a $10 million fine, the office said. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 8, 2026.
