Following their 26-15 loss to the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium in Week 8, the San Francisco 49ers are on the road again in Week 9, as they’ll take on the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

The 49ers continue to deal with injuries at key positions, but they are slowly getting pieces back at practice, and they may even return to the field for game day in the near future. With last week’s loss, they fell to third in the NFC West, so they’ll want to get back in the win column to not fall too far out of the race in the division.

New York’s been an intriguing team to watch this year, but with wide receiver Malik Nabers and running back Cam Skattebo suffering season-ending injuries, their offense is a lot less lethal than they had been. Still, rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart is still capable of carving up the shell of the 49ers’ defense.
