BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Chad Drown, former head athletic trainer for the Bakersfield Condors, has had his trial for child sex crimes postponed until August, according to Kern County court records.

Drown is accused of attempting to meet a minor for sex, according to court documents. He was arrested Oct. 11, 2022, as part of a Kern County Sheriff’s Office decoy operation targeting suspects who seek to sexually victimize minors.
