Aaron Van Rice continues to keep pace in his 17th tonight. Just do you feel like he’s finding ways to, to continually improve? Yeah, just day in and day out, I think even since he got into the league, this guy is. He just wants to learn. He wants to get better. I see him around Goldie. I see him watching Billy in the cage, guys in the cage. He’s getting here early doing the little things. I think that you stack that up over the course of *** long season, good things are going to happen. So it’s been fun to watch his growth from his first game here to where he is now. It’s *** must watch TV when he steps up to the plate. Since you hit the walk-off at the stadium. Like this offense really has found their groove. Just what have you thought of the offense over the last 4 or 5 games? It’s been impressive. It’s just the, uh, this is the type of offense we have, and I know you know you’re going to have the ebbs and flow of the season where you’re going to have some down weeks, and some down months. But, you know, when this offense is rolling like that, staying aggressive, uh, you know, we’re at our best. That’s what I feel like we did today. You know, we came out and they give us *** good pitch to hit, you know, guys. Guys drove it or if we needed to take our walks, you know, guys took their walks and kind of passed the baton, so it was, it was *** good win, you know, it’s, uh, I don’t know what happened with Sey there, hopefully nothing too crazy, but uh. You know, for the team to step up in *** bullpen game like that and still continue to take care of business, that was big time. Aaron, it’s been *** big week for Sacramento entering the, of course, MLB expansion conversation. What were you talking about with the Mayor McCarty before pregame? He said that you guys were, he said you knew all about all that happened over the past couple of days. Yeah, he mentioned the expansion, and I just kind of talked to him about some of the guys I saw that were there, you know, Derek Lee, Dusty, um, I had some good people there, and it’s exciting. You know, Northern California is *** is *** great. Um, baseball town, baseball city, especially here in Sacramento, um, *** lot of good history. So, you know, hopefully they, hopefully they get the bid. We’ll see what happens. I know they’re going up against some other good, good cities, but, uh, no, you got to have some, you know, some good baseball up here in Northern California. I have to ask you how confident do you think that they may be because they really Sacramento is really trying to make *** big swing for that franchise. Yeah, it’s going to be tough, you know, I’m really not sure how it’s gonna, how it’s going to go. Um, I know the owners and everybody’s got to vote on it, so, um. Maybe our owner will like seeing us up here in Sacramento if we keep winning games like this. So we’ll see, we’ll see. What did you think of the way Carlos Rodon through 6 innings and the way he’s been it’s big time, picking up his first win. It’s always tough coming back from an injury, but this guy, he’s looked sharp. We’ve seen it. We’ve all talked about it. The stuff is there, just having been able to get him that one win. But for him to go 6 strong like that. I’m looking forward to the next one, you know, especially him and him and Garrett both coming back and, and pitching the way they are. It just puts us in such *** better spot as *** team. Aaron, how impressive has Goldschmidt been so far, the damage he’s done for you guys, especially early in games too. The guy’s *** Hall of Famer. He’s impressive at bat. It doesn’t matter the situation who’s pitching. He comes up big when he needs to with the homer, or he’ll, you know, give us *** nice little single to keep the, keep the rally going. So he’s *** guy that I’ve tried to pick his brain *** lot. He’s. One of the best teammates I’ve ever been around, but like you said, he’ll come up with *** big 3 run homer when you need him to or work it tough at bat, you know, late in the game. So he’s *** big part of this offense. I like, you know, you can never replace Big G obviously, but having Ben Rice DHing and goalie still at first, it’s working out so far.

Aaron Judge, the Yankees star from Linden, was seen chatting with Sacramento Mayor Kevin McCarty and baseball legend Reggie Jackson about Sacramento’s MLB expansion bid ahead of Friday’s game against the A’s. Judge got the scoring started in the first inning with an RBI single. He finished the game 1-for-4, but the Yankees put up four runs in the opening frame. Nick Kurtz responded for the A’s in the bottom of the first with a home run to center, his ninth of the season. From there, it was all Yankees. Ben Rice demolished a 411-foot home run to center, a moment that Judge visibly enjoyed. The Yankees rolled to an 8-2 victory as the A’s dropped their sixth straight home game.Afterward, Judge talked about his pregame chat with McCarty and his knowledge of the city’s pitch for an MLB team. “It’s exciting. Northern California is a great baseball town, baseball city, especially here in Sacramento,” he said. “A lot of good history. Hopefully they get the bid.
