Hilton Anaheim embodies Southern California at work and at play, writes Elyse Glickman
During the first week of March every year, it can be argued that the happiest place on earth is Natural Products Expo West when it takes over the Anaheim Convention Center, especially if you are a retailer, restaurateur, journalist, or influencer tracking down breakout eco-friendly or wellness-focused foods, drinks, supplements, or lifestyle products hitting the market. The party spills over into the Hilton Anaheim and other adjoining properties. Other exclusive perks attendees enjoyed at the property during the 2026 edition included a calming Zen Room and a childcare area.
However, the Hilton Anaheim—the largest hotel in Orange County, California—has much to offer those who are travelling to Orange County, California for business or leisure the rest of the year. It is recognized as a “good neighbour” to Disneyland Resort and other attractions within walking distance or a short drive. Depending on the room you choose, you may have a view of Disneyland that looks like a 3D map, or an overview of Orange County’s other appealing sites. While the property is an easy, approachable choice for families and multi-generational groups, the two-queen bed studio suites are a great option for friend or business groups with comfortable beds and a generous living room area with a touch of 1970s retro cool worked into its décor and mini-bar area with fridge.

Everything business and leisure travellers are enjoying (including Expo West attendees) is the result of a multi-million dollar full-property renovation completed in fall 2025 and celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local officials and VIPs in attendance. All 1,574 rooms and suites were redesigned with modern furnishings, spacious layouts, soothing earth tones, and vibrant accent blues inspired by California landscapes. The newly branded Anaheim Rooftide Terrace on the fifth floor offers a 1,200 ft² (111·5 m²) pool, hot tubs, a kids’ splash area, fire pits, lawn games, flexible lounge zones, and lush landscaping.
Other amenities include a 25,000 ft² (2,323 m²) health club, a swimming pool, four whirlpool spas, a concierge, a business centre, and two saunas. Main restaurant Poppy, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, features corporate executive chef Prabeen Prathapan’s artful blend of California global influences. Saltflower Social Kitchen, on the fifth floor of the Hilton Anaheim, overlooks the Rooftide Terrace pool deck and serves coastal-inspired seasonal dishes and fresh takes on comfort food. Before 5 p.m., grab-and-go options abound in the hotel’s mini-food court line-up of Crave Pizza, Coastal Mexican Grill, Hearty Greens, and Anaheim Burger Co., along with Starbucks and Poppy’s Lounge for cocktails and light bites.
