CHP said it is conducting its Rapid Arrest of Intoxicated Drivers — or RAID — operation with DUI Saturation Patrol Task Forces. In a release, officials said the purpose of Saturday’s operation is meant to “proactively remove impaired drivers from the road” and “identify contributing factors to DUI-related crashes.”
Anyone who suspects seeing an impaired driver on the road is encouraged to call 911.
