Three juveniles allegedly assault, rob man on FAX bus in Fresno, police say
A man was assaulted and robbed Thursday night while riding a FAX bus in Fresno.
Officers responded at 9:20 p.m. to the area of Brawley Avenue and Fountain Way following reports of a fight on the bus.
When officers arrived, they located a man who had sustained minor injuries during the confrontation.
According to police, the victim and three juveniles became involved in a verbal altercation. During the dispute, one juvenile allegedly struck the victim, followed by the other two.
The bus driver intervened, prompting the juveniles to flee south from the area.
Police said one of the juveniles took the victim’s grocery bag while exiting the bus.
