Noteworthy: The junior sprinter pulled off a rare double by winning the 200 meters in a time of 23.40 and the 400 meters in a time of 52.28 at the CIF State Track and Field Championships at Buchanan High in Clovis on May 30. Adams ended the meet by running the third leg on the Bruins’ first-place 4×400 relay team (3:36.17), which helped the Wilson girls track and field team win the program’s fourth consecutive state title.
