That same concern is what prompted a nationwide redistricting battle, of which California joined in through its voter-approved Proposition 50.While Prop 50 targeted five Republican-led states, the changed district boundaries affected neighboring districts, and many voters are finding themselves voting this June for different lawmakers.The race for California governor is also top of mind for the state.
