Sentencing was handed down Wednesday to a parolee from Detroit who was criminally charged for exposing and fondling himself at a Walmart store in Rochester Hills.
At a hearing in Oakland County Circuit Court, Judge Nanci Grant ordered Bryan DeAngelo May to 120 days in the Oakland County Jail.
May, 33, pleaded guilty last month to aggravated indecent exposure for the March 19 incident at the store located on Adams Road. Officials said he was seen exposing and fondling himself while in the store’s women’s apparel department.

Store personnel told detectives May had been following a specific woman around the store, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office. May was arrested that day at the store.
At the time of the offense, May was on parole for convictions out of Wayne County for assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and assaulting an individual causing stillbirth, miscarriage or death in 2013. He was released from prison in February 2023, and his parole was to have ended this July. At the time of his plea for the indecent exposure charge, the judge agreed to not sentence him as a habitual offender.
May’s jail record shows he has other criminal charges pending out of several jurisdictions as well as a parole violation from the Michigan Department of Corrections.
