A bicyclist was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Hagginwood Tuesday night.
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said the man was riding near the 3200 block of Marysville Boulevard around 10:45 p.m. when he was hit by the vehicle. Authorities said, despite life-saving measures, he died at the scene.
The driver stayed on the scene, and DUI does not appear to be a factor, the sheriff’s office said.
An investigation is ongoing, as the sheriff’s office is asking any witnesses with information to contact them.
