Water main break reported in Oakland Road area; boil order issued

The Baxter-Marion Rural Water Association has reported a water main break affecting customers in the Oakland Road area.

According to the association, crews are currently on scene working to repair the break and restore normal service as quickly as possible.

A boil order has been issued for affected customers and will remain in effect until further notice. Residents are advised to boil water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or food preparation until the order is lifted.

No estimate has been provided on when repairs will be completed.
