OAKLAND CITY, Ind. (WEVV) — Job seekers in Southwest Indiana will have the opportunity to connect with regional employers next month during a free, public hiring event in Gibson County.
The Southwest Indiana Workforce Board, in partnership with WorkOne, announced it will host the Gibson County Job Fair on this morning. The community event is open to the public and free for anyone seeking employment opportunities.
The job fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. CT inside the Wood Memorial High School Gymnasium, located at 945 South Franklin St. in Oakland City.
Organizers state that attendees will have the chance to meet face-to-face with local employers to discuss open positions and explore potential career paths. Individuals interested in participating are encouraged to attend to network with businesses and discover new job opportunities.
