Artisan Fine Jewelers will celebrate its grand opening at Fig Garden Village, revealing its new showroom and reopening the longtime jewelry destination under new ownership.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, at 724 W. Shaw Ave., featuring complementary jewelry cleaning, refreshments, giveaways and a grand prize drawing, according to a company news release.
The business occupies the former location of The Vault Fine Jewelers, a longtime Fresno jewelry retailer that closed its doors earlier this year following the retirement of owners Gary and Elaine Yervan.
Kelly Kim, owner and store manager of Artisan Fine Jewelry, previously worked as a sales associate at The Vault for two decades.
“Just as many members in our community, I too was heartbroken when Gary and Elaine Yervan announced their retirement and the closing of their store after decades of being in business,” Kim said. “As a former Sales Associate at The Vault for 20 years, I felt a personal calling to continue their legacy, so when opportunity presented itself to re-open the store in the same location under a new name, I went for it.”
The opening represents the continuation of a longtime retail presence in one of Fresno’s most prominent shopping centers. Fig Garden Village was voted “Best Shopping Center” in The Business Journal’s 2025 Best of Central Valley Business Awards, marking the first time the shopping center received the honors.
