OAKLAND CITY, Ind. (WFIE) – 14 News continues to reach out each day to Oakland City University President Ron Dempsey.
Thursday, he told us the donors just received the money needed to pay employees, and it should be available to OCU Friday.
However, the bank will probably hold it, and checks won’t be generated until next week.
Dempsey says then they’ll be able to pay the May 8th and May 22nd payroll.
June 5’s payroll will come later.
We’ve reported new time frames from Dempsey several times over the last six weeks.

We also asked Dr. Dempsey about refunds for students who have paid housing and other deposits.
He says those students are being reimbursed.
