Phoebe Bridgers is bringing her newly announced phone-free arena tour to San Francisco this fall.
The Lost Tour is billed as Bridgers’ first full-band solo tour since her Reunion Tour wrapped in early 2023.
The North American leg is scheduled to begin Sept. 15 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and includes stops in Chicago, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle, Vancouver and San Francisco before two shows at Intuit Dome in Inglewood (Los Angeles County).
She is scheduled to perform at Chase Center on Oct. 27
The date marks Bridgers’ return to a local stage after memorable 2022 appearances at Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park and a late-night acoustic aftershow at the Independent.
The tour will be phone-free, with guests at all venues required to secure phones, smart watches and accessories in Yondr pouches throughout the performance, according to the announcement.
The policy extends a device-free approach Bridgers used during a surprise acoustic pop-up show Thursday, June 4, at Madison Square Garden in New York, where tickets were going for $1.
The Lost Tour will feature Alex G as support in North America.
Presale registration is open through 10 p.m. Thursday, June 11, on Bridgers’ website. The official artist presales are scheduled for 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, June 9 -10, with the general on-sale set for 10 a.m. Friday, June 12.
Bay Area fans who register by 9:59 p.m. Sunday, June 7, will be considered for random selection for the first presale day, while the rest will receive access on the second day.
Registered fans will be notified of the random selection results via email and text message by 8 a.m. Monday, June 8.
The process is “an effort to mitigate queue traffic,” according to the tour announcement.
One dollar from every ticket sold on the North American leg will be donated to Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network, aka RAINN, the anti-sexual violence organization that operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline.
The Lost Tour comes after a long stretch without a new solo album from Bridgers, who built an intensely loyal following with songs including “Motion Sickness,” “Kyoto” and “Moon Song.
Her most recent solo studio album, “Punisher,” was released in 2020, while her 2023 collaboration with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus as Boygenius, “The Record,” won the Grammy Award for best alternative music album.
