Noche de Muertos at Grand Park – M FA > Celebrate the final day of Downtown Día de los Muertos at Gloria Molina Grand Park this Sunday with Noche de los Muertos. The closing celebration features a performance by Latin GRAMMY-nominated artist Lupita Infante, the vintage-meets-hip-hop sounds of Boleros with Attitude (BWA), and DJ Sizzle Fantastic. DTLA Dia de Los Muertos – M FA > The first-ever DTLA Día de los Muertos event pops up this on Sunday, transform into a living altar, inspired by the Monarch Butterfly, featuring altars and installations, live music and Aztec dance, hands-on workshops, a local vendor market, and a Mezcal + Beer Garden (21+). The celebration centers around Grand Central Market (317 Broadway), and as a highlight of the day, there will be a a pair of free community screenings of Disney•Pixar’s Coco at the historic Million Dollar Theater, with two showings at 4:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The entire event is free and open to the public, but RSVP is required for the film screening. Self Care: Yoga and Soundbath at CAAM – M FA > Dedicate a Sunday to self-care with a special Yoga and Soundbath session at the California African American Museum. The session begins with a 60-minute yoga flow and meditation led by Constance Hartwell, followed by a deeply relaxing 60-minute sound bath experience from Sol & Sound. Wags & Walks is hosting its inaugural Neighborhood Social, an upscale outdoor block party benefiting rescue dogs, this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its Federal Avenue location.

This Saturday and Sunday, Best Friends’ annual mega adoption event returns to the Rose Bowl Stadium, bringing together hundreds of adoptable pets from local rescues and shelters.
