Re “ICE detainees across the US describe medical neglect” (June 2): Every federal contractor operates under strict regulations, continuous oversight and rigorous documented inspections. Performance standards are contractually mandated with severe financial penalties for violations. Private ICE detention facilities are no exception. Before megaphones replace evidence, demand the inspection reports that already exist. Accountability is already built in — use it.
