Sacramento County is proposing changes to limit the number of roosters residents can keep on their properties.Currently, properties with 10,000 square feet or more have no restrictions on the number of roosters, except in certain residential districts. The new proposal would limit ownership to one rooster per 14,500 square feet, while residents in residential areas would be restricted to a maximum of two roosters.
