From June 22 to Aug 30., the private jet airline will fly Fridays and Sundays, offering a luxury travel experience.

For Angelenos eager to travel coast-to-coast this summer, Aero is offering new direct flights from Los Angeles to the Hamptons, making summer travel more convenient, the private jet airline announced Monday. Simplifying the travel day for its customers, Aero’s new route allows them to skip connecting flights and traffic.

“Some trips look easy on a map and feel impossible in practice. Even New York to the Hamptons can take half a Friday in typical summer traffic. Add a coast-to-coast leg, and the weekend is over before it begins,” Aero CEO Ben Klein said. “This is exactly what Aero is for: routes our guests want to fly, built to ensure the journey is as easy as it is luxurious.”

From June 22 to Aug. 30, flights will depart from Van Nys airport on Fridays at 8:30 a.m. PT. Passengers will fly to the closest airport to New York City, before transferring to a jet that lands at East Hampton Airport at 4:50 p.m. ET. Return flights will depart on Sundays at 2 p.m. ET., arriving back in L.A. at 6:20 p.m. PT.

Rather than chartering a private jet, Aero aims to offer its passengers an equal level of service and personal space, sold by the seat. The journey costs $7,570 for a single ticket which can be purchased online at Aero.com. Travelers may skip long security lines, checking in 20 minutes before their departure time at a private lounge, according to Aero.

Once boarded, The Gulfstream IV-SP features amenities such as an open bar and refreshments from Erewhon, Sadelle’s and Parm, as well as Starlink Wi-Fi, included in the price of the ticket. Aero is also pet friendly, welcoming dogs of all sizes with fresh water and treats.

In New York, passengers transfer to a BLADE aircraft located next to the Aero jet. BLADE aircraft can accommodate one large and one small checked bag per guest, which can be checked at Van Nys and are ready upon arrival at East Hampton, according to Aero.

The route provides West Coasters a new transportation option to spend a weekend in the Hamptons for a luxury East Coast getaway.
