ELYSIAN PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Dodger Stadium will be packed on Monday afternoon for a fan celebration of the Dodgers’ repeat World Series win. Tickets for the Dodger Stadium Championship Celebration fan event were snatched up in less than an hour on Sunday.

After the parade through downtown Los Angeles, the players will be taken to Dodger Stadium, where the ticketed celebration begins around 12:15 p.m.

Tickets became available at noon on Sunday, and fans claimed them all within an hour. By the afternoon, the Dodgers’ website showed the event was sold out.

For fans lucky enough to take part in the fun, parking gates at the stadium will open at 8:30 a.m., and ticketed attendees will be allowed to enter the stadium at 9 a.m. Food and merchandise will be available for purchase, and the DodgerVision scoreboards will offer live coverage of the parade.

The parade begins in downtown L.A. at 11 a.m. The 1.7-mile route is expected to take about 45 minutes, then the team will head straight to Dodger Stadium for the event from there.
