Pedestrian struck twice, killed in hit-and-run crash in Sacramento

Sacramento police are investigating a hit-and-run that left one person dead, officials said.Officers responded to the area of Del Paso Boulevard and Marysville Boulevard just before 6:30 p.m., where they located a pedestrian down in the roadway, police said.The pedestrian was struck by two vehicles; one driver remained on scene, and one fled prior to police arrival, the department said. Del Paso Boulevard and Marysville Boulevard remain closed, police said. Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit and crime scene investigator are responding to the scene to take over the investigation. Sacramento police are investigating a hit-and-run that left one person dead, officials said.
