Sacramento Pride March & Parade 11 a.m. Sunday, June 14 at Southside Park; parade ends at the Capitol. Inspired by the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, the Sacramento Pride March returns with walking contingents, vehicle contingents, large floats, music and community celebration. The event honors Pride’s roots as a demonstration for equity and social justice while celebrating LGBTQIA+ communities and culture. Free.

Rhythm & Brunch: Cigars & Sundresses 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at the Collective, 1107 Firehouse Alley. Sheye T Presents brings Rhythm and Brunch Sacramento to Old Sacramento with food, drinks and R&B. Tickets start at $10.

Single Mom Strong’s Men’s Mentoring Kickball 6:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at Woodlake Park, 500 Arden Way. Single Mom Strong hosts a fun kickball game for potential mentors and mentees in its men’s mentoring program, which connects caring, positive male role models with school-age children of single moms. Children ages 5 1/2 through 13 are welcome to participate, and moms can play or observe while learning more about the program and application process. Registration is required.

Alex Isley – When The City Sleeps 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, at Ace of Spades. Doors open at 7 p.m., show begins at 8 p.m. for this all-ages concert. Isley is an American singer-songwriter and producer known for her smooth blend of R&B, soul and jazz influences. The daughter of Ernie Isley of the Isley Brothers, she has released several acclaimed projects and earned two Grammy nominations. Tickets start at $47.50.

Open Mic Hosted by Marcus Mangham 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, at Punch Line Sacramento. Marcus Mangham hosts a lively happy hour open mic inside Sacramento’s premier comedy club. New and returning comedians can showcase their material, with signups opening at noon the day before and raffle opportunities available at the event. This is an 18+ show with a two-beverage minimum and no reentry. Tickets are $5.

CLBSA: Juneteenth Gala 7-10 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, at Elks Tower, 921 11th St. The California Legislative Black Staff Association hosts its Afro-Futurism Juneteenth Gala, honoring Juneteenth while celebrating Black identity, history, creativity and the possibilities ahead. Tickets from $25.

Author Talk Featuring Harold ‘Noonie G’ Ward 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Underground Books. Ward shares a raw and powerful journey through Altgeld Gardens, exploring struggle, survival and redemption on Chicago’s South Side. Tickets are $35.64.

Sacramento Juneteenth 6-9 p.m. Friday, June 19, and 9 a.m. Saturday, June 20, at William Land Park, 3901 Land Park Drive. The two-day Sacramento Juneteenth Festival begins Friday with “Gospel Under the Stars” and continues Saturday with two stages of live entertainment, a parade, health and wellness row, arts and educational theater, community soldier awards, a kids’ area, food and merchandise vendors, and presentations from city leaders. Free.

40 Acres Jubilee: Celebrating Community & Freedom 4-9 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at 40 Acres Complex. Celebrate Juneteenth in Oak Park with music, culture and community during the 2026 Juneteenth Block Party at 40 Acres. The event features live DJs, local food trucks, a wine and beer garden, a marketplace of Black-owned businesses, and games and activities at Esther’s Park hosted by St. HOPE Public Schools. Free.
