(FOX40.COM) —Three vehicles were involved in a vehicle accident, including one that ended on its side, on Sunday evening in Sacramento.

Around 7:40 p.m., the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District was dispatched to a vehicle accident with extrication at 2425 Fair Oaks Blvd. Crews found three vehicles involved, including one that ended up on its side when they arrived at the scene.
Firefighters quickly extricated one man who was trapped inside a pickup truck. He was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
No additional injuries were reported. The cause of the crash is under investigation by CHP.
Metro Fire said it would like to remind the Sacramento community to drive with extra caution, especially following the recent time change.
